Menú desplegable en columnas horizontales

Hola amigos, tenía una duda con una web que estoy preparando. La web es la siguiente: Web de prueba. Mi problema está en el menú superior, exactamente en la parte donde dice: Tienda. Como ven si arrastran el cursor por encima se despliega una lista, pero el fallo está en que aparece toda en una sola columna, que queda demasiado larga. ¿Cómo podría hacer que se dividiera en varias columnas de forma horizontal?.

Me gustaría que quedara como ven en la imagen, adaptado al estilo de mi web.

Tendrás que coger el elemento en donde están listada las categorías y añadirle un ancho fijo, después a cada elemento de la lista, podría aplicarle un float: left.

Gracias amigo, pero ¿podrías explicármelo paso a paso si puede ser?, que solo consigo que se me trastoque el diseño, pero no consigo que se coloque en columnas como quiero.

Mira primeramente como generas la lista es manual??

Si es así a cada elemento le pones: width:33%; display:inline-block; vertical-align:top;

Le das un ancho máximo a todo el menu y le a líneas el texto a la izquierda.

Ya te he dado las instrucciones ahora usa google para refinar.

Con 4 capas y órdenes bien dadas al CSS no hace falta usar un plugin
