Problema con vbulletin 4.1.2

Hola me eh instalado hoy VBulletin v4.1.2 pero al poner todos los datos y todo me a salido un error muy raro:

Uso acens para el host.

El vBulletin 4.1.2 ya es viejo por lo que usa funciones de php viejas también.

En las versiones nuevas del php ya no se usa hace un par de años el mysql_connect() cambialo por el mysqli_connect()

Como repito tu versión es vieja y no soportada en tu versión php, que actualmente tienes el php 7 por eso los errores.

La única solución que le veo a esto es lo siguiente

vBulletin v5

- Pasarte a la ultima versión vBulletin v5

Si quieres utilizar la versión 4

- Utilizar php 5.6
- Si no puedes cambiar la versión del php aplicar algunos fix para que trabaje con la versión 4 con el php 7

vbulletin v5 creo que desde 5.2.1

Y por que no actualizas a la version 4.2.3?
Usa los recursos necesarios y actualiza que luego vienes los fallos y las "madres mias"...
