Install CPanel en Centos 7

Buenas colegas, hay alguna forma de instalar Cpanel WHM en centos 7, ya que en su version 112 dejo de ser compatible o soportar centos 7 y bueno en allmalinux no hay php 7.0 o 7.1 solo 7.2 para arriba.

hay alguna forma de instalar cpanel en centos 7 o se podria instalar php 7.0 para cpanel en allaminux 8.

De cabeza Almalinux. Si quieres PHP 7.0 de manera obligatoria puedes tenerlo mediante Docker y lo conectas por TCP en vez de socket.

Si puedes instalarlo usando la version de cpanel que deseas.

Introduction​

For some servers, you may require the installation of a specific version of cPanel & WHM. Although this is not recommended, as we want for your server to run the most up-to-date version of cPanel, this is still possible.



We only recommend installing the versions of cPanel that are included in the tiers mentioned here.

Procedure​

To install a specific version of cPanel & WHM, you must create the following file before installing cPanel:

/etc/cpupdate.conf


Here is the file format for the contents of this file:

CPANEL=release
RPMUP=daily
SARULESUP=daily
STAGING_DIR=/usr/local/cpanel
UPDATES=daily


You will need to edit the line "CPANEL" and replace the value with your targeted version. For example:

CPANEL=lts


In this line above, you can use any cPanel version from v94 and newer. For further information and examples, please review our documentation on the "The cPanel & WHM Update Configuration File - cpupdate.conf."

yo te recomendaria ya no usar centos7 , esta por salir de vida.

Debo usarlo al menos por un tiempo, en este caso es dificil instalar cpanel en ese SO, no me queda otra que usar otro panel.

Te instalas Cloudlinux sobre Almalinux y ya puedes seguir usando las versiones PHP antiguas en la versión más actual de cPanel. El Cloudlinux lo puedes activar trial, la licencia no hace realmente mucha falta, luego de la trial, eliminas los repositorios y se seguirá actualizando normal con los repos de Almalinux, por lo menos los security updates hasta tanto hagas rollback.
