Activar MYSQLi en Host Linux

Hola Amigos,

En este momento cuento con un servidor nuevo vps reseller, y he querido mover uno de mis sitios web a mi nuevo servidor por medio del Plugin WP Duplicator que opera para hacer backups en Wordpress.

De esa manera cuando lo voy instalar me presenta un problema como lo pueden ver en la imagen de abajo

Quiero preguntar si alguien me puede indicar como activar la extensión MySQLi

Recompilando Apache es una opcion y la mas simple. Eso si tienes acceso root al servidor podrias realizarlo sin problema alguno. Saludos!

Pero si es por ejemplo un VPS CentOS puedes instalar la extensión:

Si es una distro debia o ubuntu usa apt-get

Edita el archivo de configuración de PHP que generalmente se encuentra en /etc/php/php.ini y descomenta la siguiente línea:

Insertar CODE, HTML o PHP:

extension=mysqli.so

Amigos gracias por la participación, les comento yo tengo el total acceso a todo el server y mi tipo de servidor es de Reseller hosting Vps en Godaddy para hacer el proceso que ustedes me dicen.

Este es el tipo de hosting que tengo----->

De acuerdo a sus aportes quiero preguntarles, si pueden hacer el favor de darme un paso a paso (Guia ó tutorial) que me indique detenidamente como debo insertar el código ya que, la verdad no soy un experto en servidores pero se seguir muy bien las indicaciones de los archivos y carpetas e insertar lo deba hacer.
