Ayuda para poner Adsense en single.php

Primero de todo para que no me hechen bronca otros foreros, he estado repasando los tutoriales como el presente de esta misma pagina y no salgo adelante para colocar el codigo adsense en el single.php.
A ver si alguien me puede ayudar a colocar los anuncios de forma manual arriba a la izquierda, otro en medio y un ultimo bloque de enlaces al final del post, y si debo poner algo de css para los ajustes. Os dejo una imagen de muestra de una pagina similar que los tiene de esta manera distribuidos.
