Hola esto creando un theme para wodpress pero no tengo mucho conocimiento sobre php asi que me gustaria que me dijeran si esta bien formulado la seccion que quiero. Lo que quiero lograr o mas bien ya lo logre pero me gustaria que me digieran si esta bien lo que e echo es dividir el index por secciones que muestre ultimas peliculas y ultimas series agregadas.
PHP:
<?php if ( is_home() ) { ?>
<?php if ($recent = query_posts( array ( 'category_name' => 'PELICULAS', 'posts_per_page' => 12 ) )) { ?>
<div class="textindex"> Ultimas películas agregadas:</div>
<?php while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>
<div id="item-<?php the_ID(); ?>" class="galleryitem">
<a class="itemtumb" href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" title="<?php the_title() ?>"><span></span><?php st_first_image(); ?></a>
<h2><a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" title="<?php the_title() ?>"><?php echo substr(get_the_title(), 0, 20); ?><?php if( strlen(get_the_title()) > 20 ) { echo '...'; } ?></a></h2>
</div><!-- .galleryitem -->
<?php endwhile; ?>
<?php }; ?>
<?php }; ?>
