¡Feliz navidad 2010!

Is it just me and my family that argues about ridiculous things during Christmas and other holiday type occassions?

From my own experience Xmas can be a pretty stressful time. Old news, politics, family drama all seems to come to the surface too... Why can't we be more normal?!

The demand on parents especially, is great. I mean, you're expected to REALLY deliver... and with the costs of goods, such as the latest gizmo's, toys, Playstation's all going up... presents aren't cheap and with all the other expenses building up on top during this time the old credit card can really take a battering.

Regardless of all this and being materialistic, it's important to remember and look at all that you have around you and be greatful. If you weren't able to get that certain something for someone because you couldn't afford it, then it's no big deal.

Also take a moment to think about those that don't even have a roof over their head, or those that are going hungry right now. The way human nature is... you'll forget about these less privileged people in about 20 mins from now and will just carry on with what's going on in your own World and why you can't find anything decent to watch on TV.
