Permission denied

I had a forum till the host died so,, im trying to reinstall it on another place that supports php and mysql too...
The problem is that when I'm installing the vbulletin I get this error:
": Permission denied in /home/clancsa/public_html/foro/sm-keygen.php(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) " (loop)
I just wanna know how could I fix it,,, I made the db and the user and configured the config.php file but still doesn't work... any help would be grateful...

Are you using a unix server?, your server has the proper permission to run the vb code? check that your forum has put the 644 permissions in your files when you uploaded it, some servers have different permission templates for new files. Welcome to vbhispano but remember that this is a spanish forum, maybe you'll have better luck and support if you post your problem in vb.com or another vb related forum that has english as native language.

me confundí, pensé q estaba posteando en vbulletin forum y era hispano mejor... mira no se q es lo q sucede q no se puede instalar ,, le di los permisos por el ftp a la carpeta donde esta el foro pero ni modo... espero no sea problema del hosting, tiene hasta Cpanel para instalar otros scripts como phpbb asi q no deberia ser eso... espero ;S

no es por nada, pero ese archivo sm-keygen.php que manda el error no me parece un archivo de default de vbulletin... si tu version de vb no es original... pues no puedo ayudarte mucho aunque quisiera porque yo no se que codigo esta corriendo en ese archivo o que necesites para hacerlo correr... a lo mejor alguien mas por aqui si sabe :-X
