Poner Nombre y apellidos en postbit

¡Usuario con pocos negocios! ¡Utiliza siempre saldo de Forobeta!
He creado varios campos adicionales para el registro de los usuarios.

Uno de ellos es lugar de procedencia y consigo que me salga en el postbit, pero otro es nombre y apelllidos y lo he configurado de la misma manera que la procedencia pero no hay manera de que salga en el postbit.

Alguna sugerencia?

Bueno, coloca el postbit junto con el numero de "Campo" el cual creaste ...

Seria de mucha ayuda ...

No entiendo a q te refieres.. Q haga un screenshot del postbit? para que lo veas?

Admincp - Estilos y plantillas - Buscar dentro de plantillas : En el cuadro colocas :

"postbit" o "postbit_legacy" ..

Una vez hecho esto, copias el codigo y lo pones aqui como post ..

y me das el numero del campo que deseas agregar dentro del postbit ..

El número de campo te refieres al que sale en orden de desplegado? Si no es así no sé que número es, este lo tengo en 1. El nombre que sale en el administrador de campos es "field3".

He cambiado el código y en el postbit no puedo apreciar ningún cambio.. Tenía que hacer algo más aparte de cambiar el código y darle a guardar?
 
Me acabo de dar cuenta también que encima de la linea que hemos añadido está el campo de edad y tampoco sale en el postbit, no qiero q salga, pero como curiosidad, ya que el field3 que es el que quiero sigo sin poder hacer que salga..

Si metes el codigo del field3 dentro del vb:if de la edad, y la edad está desactivada, entonces no te va a salir tampoco el nombre, sacalo del vb:if

Disculpa mi ignorancia.. No entiendo lo de sacar del vb:if.

He intentado borrar la línea de la edad o quitar el último vb:if de la línea del filed3 y me da errores. Así es cómo lo tengo.

Hola,

Para que la información te salga debes haber llenado esa información editando tu perfil, o sea llenar algún dato en el campo que creaste desde tu perfil.

El código está bien, si lo que quieres es no mostrar la edad, lo que dice Sara que si el código que estás tratando de mostrar lo metes dentro del la condición que hace que se muestre la edad, si el usuario no ha puesto su edad en su perfil o está desactivado no mostrar edad en opciones de vB, entonces tampoco va mostrar los datos de tu field3 aún si este tiene datos.

El código que has puesto debe funcionar perfectamente. Si no muestra nada, es porque quiza tu field no es fiel3, o porque ese field no lo has llenado en tu perfil. Si no ingresas ningún dato, no vas a ver ningún dato.

Otra cosa podría ser que estes usando el postbit que trae vBulletin por defecto y estés haciendo los cambios en el postbit_legacy, que es el que usamos aquí que muestra la información del usuario a la izquierda y no arriba.

Debes hacer tus modificaciones en el postbit correcto.

Para poner código en los mensajes dentro de un cuadro, usas el siguiente código:

gerardx, el vb:if es una condición, digamos que lo que hay dentro de él, se ejecutará si se cumple esa condición, por ejemplo:

<vb:if condition="$post['field3']">LO QUE SEA</vb:if>

En esa línea, se mostrará el texto "LO QUE SEA" siempre que se cumpla "$post['joindate']", es decir, siempre que el campo field3 esté activo.

Con "sacar del vb:if" me refería a que tienes metido el código de tu campo personalizado (el field3) dentro del campo edad, y si el campo edad lo tienes desactivado o el usuario no tiene puesta su edad, no le va a salir ni la edad ni el nombre. Por eso te añadí esas dos líneas de código, que cada uno tiene su vb:if.

Bueno esto es muy a groso modo pero al menos para que te ayude a comprenderlo y no solo copies y pegues a ciegas.

Lo que te ha dicho Angel, si no tienes los campos rellenos en el perfil, no van a salir... El código está aparentemente bien.
