GraciasTo Whom it May Concern,
Cloudflare offers your website security and optimization services that may include, but are not limited to, scanning inbound requests for cybersecurity threats, a content distribution network (CDN), and registrar services. From time-to-time, we receive notice that one of the websites using our services has been found to be in violation of copyright laws by a court or regulatory agency, or we may receive abuse complaints from third parties alleging copyright infringement.
Over the past few months, we have forwarded you a number of abuse complaints we have received about the content made available on your website. This content has been flagged by various entities as violating copyright. Based on our role, we don’t always see what happens to those complaints after we forward them to you.
As part of our effort to comply with our obligations under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512), particularly the DMCA’s repeat infringer requirements, we have identified your account as potentially triggering our repeat infringer policy and request that you provide us with the following information:
● How you have handled the copyright complaints we sent to you; or
● How you can demonstrate your evaluation and general compliance with copyright reports.
We request that you provide a response in five business days.
Cloudflare continues to monitor our obligations as a non-party provider of various services and determining the best way to maintain the health of the Internet, respect our customers’ interests, and comply with our legal obligations. If you do not provide us the requested information, or if the information you provide fails to demonstrate a sufficient effort to address such reports, we may decide to take action that could include: turning off cache to your domain(s), removing your domain(s), or suspending your account.
Kind regards,
Cloudflare Trust & Safety
